Just Between Friends - shop, sell, save, smart!

Giving Back

One of the greatest things about JBF Spokane is that we get to see, meet and serve so many here in our community. We LOVE Spokane and are excited to be a part of helping so many families save on the things they want and need.
Choosing to donate your unsold items is a wonderful way to help families in need right here in our own backyard.

Charity Partner Highlights

The Jonah Project advocates for youth who are considered seriously at-risk, and victims/survivors of human trafficking.

Every donation that comes in is sorted based on needs at the time. We help A LOT of people throughout the year and many of these donated items will go straight to folks in need. Some items will be stored for future needs and then we will have a fundraiser sale to help fund our mission.

Our goal is to meet people who have requested help right where they are at, with no judgement, and then to provide avenues to the appropriate resources.  Things like immediate medical care, a safe home, relocation, essentials like food and clothing... or even just someone to walk through life with.

We have teams of professionals who volunteer their time, as well as community members who are simply interested in seeing people walk in freedom they may have never experienced.  Our approach is to be pro-active as well as reactive to the issues that face those we care for in this community.

That means we do things like provide free educational/teaching seminars for school counselors as well as safety and transparent aftercare for those who need our help.  We don't consider ourselves a program, but rather a community project that aims to provide opportunities for those who have seen trauma, to heal through the building and development of relationships, to know real freedom, and to be a voice for those who have had theirs taken away.

Having kids is EXPENSIVE!  I'm a mom of 4 growing kids and it's hard to keep up!   JBF has made it possible for me to sell my kids' outgrown things and shop for the new clothes, gear and toys they need and love!  I love Spokane and am honored to bring this great event to our area.  I've been the coordinator of JBF Spokane since 2008 and I'm thankful for how much this event has blessed so many in our area.
